Moysekou Camara (born Sekou Mohamed Camara) is a Belgian writer and a descendant of the Manding people of West Africa. Three years ago, at a leadership retreat in Guinea, an old griot told a story by firelight that changed how he understood everything — strategy, leadership, patience, and the difference between information and wisdom. That story became this book. By training, Moysekou is a software architect and strategic consultant who has worked with Fortune 500 companies, governments, nonprofits, and startups across three continents. By calling, he is a bridge — between the ancient wisdom of the griot tradition and the modern hunger for long-term thinking. He is not a griot; he is a student of one griot’s teachings, shared with that griot’s blessing. He writes in English, French, and Arabic, and lives in Waterloo, Belgium.
The Seven Seeds of Wisdom is a griot’s guide to strategic thinking — drawing on the ancient West African oral tradition to teach seven timeless powers: Patience, Consequence, Pathfinding, Storytelling, Decision-Making, Systems Thinking, and Leverage. Written by Moysekou Camara, this book bridges ancient wisdom and modern strategy for leaders, entrepreneurs, parents, and anyone who wants to think more clearly, build more wisely, and leave a legacy that lasts.
“Modern life needs ancient wisdom. The urgent needs the important. The information needs the story. This book is the bridge.”
